  • The Auckland Zinefest Market Weekend is a free to attend market that showcases zines, small-press, arts and crafts by local makers.

Experience the biggest zinefest of Aotearoa at the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki with over 120+ zinemakers across two days!

  • ➜ Bring Cash.
Most of the stallholders will either offer cash or bank transfers, so make sure to bring plenty of cash or have access to internet banking.

    ➜ Bring a bag.
You’ll be encountering plenty of zines, books and other goodies so it’s best to bring a handy bag to carry them all throughout the day. We do offer free paper bags at the Auckland Zinefest Info Desk at the South Atrium.

  • With the central location in the Auckland CBD, you can easily drive, bus, train or walk to the zinefest market.

➜ If you’re using public transport we recommend using AT’s Journey Planner to find the best route from your location.

➜ If you’re driving and need parking, we recommend parking at one of AT’s Car Parks for the cheapest rates. The closest being the Victoria St Car Park and the Civic Car Park.

Make sure to avoid the Wilson Car Park right across the gallery to stay clear of expensive parking!

  • The Auckland Zinefest Market is the largest Zinefest in Aotearoa New Zealand! You’ll be sure to spend 3+ hours here with all the stallholders, easy badge making station and inspiring Zine Talk. View more details of the activities of each day below.
