Hwen Projects

Hwen Projects is the creative love child between filmmakers Harry Matheson & Gwen Lin - who are bound by their shared love of surreal and abstract photographic art. They met ten years ago when they happened to get called up to perform karaoke together while both were staying at a ski lodge in Utah where they hit it off and later learned that they were classmates at the same school in Albuquerque where Harry was a star basketball player and Gwen was a scholastic decathlon champion and where they ultimately decided to break the status quo by pushing aside the expectations their community had imposed upon them by successfully auditioning for their high school musical production of ‘Twinkle Town’ and proving once and for all that “there’s not a star in heaven that we can’t reach”. They have been making art together ever since.
