Mimic and Magpie

Mimic and Magpie is a writer (Chiaki) and illustrator (Caleb) couple publishing D&D/TTRPG zines - short one shots that we've run with our own tabletop group that we want to share. We love things that are fun, silly, and queer. Caleb may also publish zines featuring his own (non-TTRPG) illustrations. We'll be joined by our friend Kyle, who has written a short story called 'Dark Stars'. We're including Kyle in our application rather than separately because he won't be able to get himself to Auckland on his own.

The three of us attended Kirikiriroa Hamilton Zinefest for the first time this year, and really enjoyed getting to share our art with like-minded people and swap stories and zines with other zinesters.
