WAMR?!

We are a local artist collective specialising in public art, digital art, collage and traditional art. WAMR was founded as a creative outlet and a way for us to leave a mark on this city we love. Individually, we all work with different mediums and have our own unique styles, but all art made under WAMR has a leftist political lense as we use the public spaces to advocate for queer rights, workers rights, environmental issues and Maori rights. In the past we’ve collaborated on art pieces and zines and have all worked on personal zines.
