Aotearoa Covid Action / Aotearoa Mask Bloc

Aotearoa Covid Action is a grassroots advocacy group that has risen up in the wake of Aotearoa New Zealand no longer having a credible plan to control the spread of Covid in our schools, workplaces, and wider communities. Our members include teachers, parents, small business owners, health professionals, disabled people, and other people from all over the motu. We provide information, resources, fellowship, and advocacy.

Aotearoa Mask Bloc is a network of mutual aid groups around the motu that provide free high-quality masks for our communities, for anyone who wants to protect themselves from airborne diseases.

We have created educational zines about how to protect yourself from infectious disease, and sourced some publicly available zines from other communities that also explain how protecting vulnerable people from airborne disease is tied to community care and other political causes. We welcome people who are just learning about masks as well as mask veterans. We hope to see you there!
