InnerSprouts is a fanzine born from the collaboration of writer Inés and illustrator Eli.

Inés is a Chilean writer based in Auckland, New Zealand, whose work moves between prose poetry and narrative, drawing on mathematical metaphor to explore intimacy, desire, and identity. Her writing has appeared in a literary anthology, and she continues to work bilingually between Spanish and English.

Eli is a Chilean mixed-media artist, working across ink, paint, and texture to build the visual world of InnerSprouts figures that sprout, unfurl, and dissolve into botanical and bodily forms.

Together, Inés and Eli created InnerSprouts as a space where everything merges into one another. The zine follows bodies that root, bloom, and reach desire rendered as tendril and thorn, intimacy as something that grows in the dark before it shows itself to the light. We invite you to step inside and let something in you sprout, too.
