Matilda Boese-Wong, Moira Murphy, Mark Chayanat,

Sunday 2 August

Matilda Boese-Wong

I’m a mixed Asian New Zealander whose main creative practice is filmmaking, but over the past few years I’ve found a love for zine-making. Working with watercolour and hand-carved stamps, I create playful, handmade zines filled with fruit people, smiling everyday objects, and gentle humour. This is my first time sharing my zines publicly, and I’m excited to bring these small, tangible worlds into the hands of others.

Moira Murphy

I’m an Auckland based creative making zines containing poetry and drawings, plus some very important extracts from my year 11 diary…

Mark Chayanat Whittet

Mark is a Tamaki Makaurau based artist. His work dissects masculinity and repressed homosexuality within an Aotearoa context. Interested in the intersections between queer, immigrant and sporting communities, Mark uses provocative and intimate imagery in contrast with traditionally masculine situations as a form of deconstruction.
