Wrought Material is the all-encompassing studio of Tāmaki Makaurau based artist and designer Alexander 葉 L. Brown, predominantly working in the realm of music packaging, art-direction and promotion. Whilst combining traditional hand-drawn ink illustration with a modern design ethic, his work often explores matters symbolic and surreal in nature.

Wrought Material projects also include obsessively crafted zines, books, tapes and records as well as hosting exhibitions, gigs and tours.
