Kia ora! I'm Abble, an Asian immigrant based in Tamaki. With a bicultural background, I have the chance to gain unique insights and see outside some of the social norms. As a queer and neurospicy individual, art is a way for me to express my uniqueness and interact with the world. I've been making art throughout my entire life in both traditional and digital forms. I also have great passion for crafting and multimedia work, including collage and zine making. The Zinefest workshops in 2024 inspired me to undertake zine-making and I have been creating zines ever since. I have found that zines are the perfect medium for showcasing my art and ideals. I strive to show my unique self and experience, push the boundaries of the social norm, and bring awareness to things that are seldom talked about in our society through my zines.
