Tagata Atamai is a bookstore, creative community, and publisher that is dedicated to amplifying Moana voices through multimedia storytelling. Founded in 2023 by Dani Kionasina, Tagata Atamai has grown into a powerful platform for nourishing Indigenous storytellers in Aotearoa & beyond.

Dani Kionasina is a writer, poet, and multidisciplinary artist from West Aukilani, Aotearoa. Her bloodlines are Samoan, Irish, Welsh, and Scottish. She is the author of Tusitala and Tusiata, and the editor of Moana: Voices of Our Ocean.
