Suzanne Stevenson is the co-creator of Wishes, a New Zealand business on a mission to make conversations about death a little less daunting.

After experiencing a sudden loss in her own family, Suzanne realised just how many difficult decisions loved ones are left to make when no wishes have been recorded. Together with her son Quinn, she created Wishes Book—a guided journal that helps people document their funeral preferences, personal messages, important family information, and the little details that make all the difference.

Since then, the Wishes range has grown to include a card game, and digital resources designed to encourage open conversations about death, and to help families plan ahead with confidence.

Suzanne believes that talking about death isn't morbid—it's one of the kindest gifts we can leave the people we love.
