Love zinefest but don’t love the crowds? We get it. Visit during our Relaxed Hour from 10:00am to 11:00am to explore the stalls in a lower-stimulation environment. This is outside of the promoted zinefest market hours to allow for fewer crowds. We welcome you to visit during this time if you need a more relaxed sensory experience. Our stallholders will just be starting their day and are encouraged to avoid hard selling and excessive noise.

If you aren’t able to attend during these times, there are a few spaces in the gallery where you can take a break from crowds when you need one. Head to the East Terrace on Level 2 (wheelchair access), where you can make yourself a badge, rest and soak in the views of the adjacent Albert Park. Alternatively, you could exit the café and go to the amphitheatre by the steps leading up to Albert Park (no wheelchair access). Both these places connect to the outside environment and have either partial or full shelter. There may be other visitors also using the space, but it will be less crowded.
